The Opportunity:

Senior Accountant: $110,000 - $130,000 plus super

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a busy Tax team.

This role is ideally suited to a technically strong Senior Accountant who enjoys working across a broad range of tax and accounting matters, building strong client relationships and supporting junior team members.

You will work closely with experienced tax professionals and have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while working with a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements.
- Prepare management reports and interim financial accounts.
- Prepare and review BAS and IAS returns.
- Provide tax planning proposals and advice.
- Prepare and analyse management reports.
- Prepare tax effect accounting.
- Analyse and review financial accounts.
- Manage monthly payroll and payroll tax submissions.
- Prepare and lodge FBT returns.
- Present and analyse financial data.
- Build and maintain strong,



long-term professional client relationships.
- Provide support, guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar role within Australian public practice.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Experience working within a mid-tier or Big 4 accounting environment would be highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting.
- Experience using Xero and MYOB.
- Strong initiative and attention to detail.
