The Opportunity:

Senior Accountant: $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Business Services team.
This role is ideally suited to a technically strong Senior Accountant who is confident managing their own client portfolio, reviewing work, supporting junior team members, and assisting the Partner with more complex technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Prepare and review BAS and IAS.
- Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients.
- Review work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Assist the Partner with complex client matters and higher-level technical issues.
- Conduct year-end tax planning and financial analysis.
- Liaise directly with clients, the ATO and other relevant agencies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term professional client relationships.





Ideally, you’ll have:

- 3–5+ years’ experience in Business Services within an Australian Chartered Accounting firm.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, including GST and CGT.
- Experience working across a variety of client structures.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and technical development.
