Our client is a leading high-tech plastics recycling facility based in Laverton North, specializing in converting post-consumer plastics into food-grade recycled HDPE (rHDPE) and PP resin.

With operations continuing to expand, this is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, technology-focused facility and develop your technical skills within the growing and sustainable recycling industry.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Extruder Operator to join the team on an ongoing night shift roster.

Roster:

- Monday: No work
- Tuesday – Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor extrusion equipment and production processes
- Set, adjust and troubleshoot machinery
- Monitor production output and product quality
- Identify and respond to operational issues
- Follow all WHSE, safety and operating procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient production environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience operating extrusion equipment or working in plastics manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in blow moulding, injection moulding or thermoforming will also be considered
- Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle – essential
- Valid Australian working rights
