We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of the business.

Employment Type:

Full-time Permanent Position

Salary:

AUD $85,000 -$95,000 per annum plus superannuation

Salary will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the motel

• Manage front office operations including reservations, check-ins, and guest services

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality

• Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and reception staff

• Coordinate staff rosters, training, and performance management

• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues professionally

• Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to maximise bookings and revenue

• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

• Manage motel budgets, stock control, and operational reporting

• Liaise with suppliers,



contractors, and service providers

• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards are consistently met

• Assist with marketing and promotional activities where required

• Oversee restaurant and accommodation service operations where applicable

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Motel Manager or in a similar hospitality management role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting

• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

• Experience with motel booking systems and reservations management

• Sound understanding of hospitality operations and compliance requirements

Qualification Requirements:

• A relevant Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a highly related field is required.
