Skydive Australia has 8 drop zones across Australia providing people the ultimate thrill! Starting out with just one single-engine aircraft in 1998, we have grown rapidly to be where we are today. Increasing heart rates and creating incredible exhilarating experiences is what we aim to do.

About you

You have exceptional customer service skills including great face to face, phone, and email manner. You are a hard worker and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You are details orientated and work well with timeframes and deadlines. You understand manifesting functions and ready to jump in a help where needed. You are physically fit and enjoying working outside.

About the role

We are seeking Ground Crew to join our team in Cairns!

We are offering you the opportunity to be a part of a leading company in tourism where having fun and building relationships is an important part of the role! You are flexible with your availability and can work weekends and public holidays when needed.

This role may be required to undertake some Driving duties. A Light Ridged (LR) and the ability to acquire a QLD Drivers Authority will be highly regarded for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:





- Welcoming customers and helping them have an amazing experience from arrival to departure.
- Checking in and manifesting customers accurately using our booking systems.
- Chatting with customers, pilots and the wider team to keep the day running smoothly.
- Answering questions and helping customers feel comfortable and excited for their skydive!
- Driving our coaster bus (appropriate licence required).
- Keeping on top of admin, customer records and operational paperwork.
- Helping keep the drop zone, customer areas and vehicles clean, organised and looking their best.
- Using your initiative, solving problems and jumping in wherever needed.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the drop zone and being part of a fun, fast-paced team.
- Working indoors and outdoors and staying active throughout the day.
- Following safety procedures and helping create a positive, professional and safety-focused environment.
