Role Description The Group Manager – HSEQ is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, responsible for leading health, safety, environment, and quality functions across 3C Energy and its group businesses. This position oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSEQ policies, systems, and procedures to support safe operations and regulatory compliance in industrial energy environments. Day-to-day activities include managing risk assessments, safety programs, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions, while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and field teams.

The role involves monitoring performance metrics, reporting to senior leadership, and driving initiatives that enhance safety culture and quality outcomes across projects and services.

Manager – HSEQ also mentors team members, coordinates training, and engages with clients and regulators on HSEQ matters as required.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in HSEQ management, including health and safety systems, environmental compliance, and quality assurance in industrial or energy sectors.
- Experience leading risk management activities such as hazard identification, job safety analysis, incident investigation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining HSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent).
- Track record of engaging and influencing multidisciplinary teams, with solid communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills to support a proactive safety culture.
- Ability to analyze HSEQ data, prepare reports, and use performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across projects and operations.
- Understanding of industrial energy systems, high-voltage electrical assets, or engineering project environments is highly beneficial.
- Experience working in office and in field-based environments, with readiness to visit operational locations, workshops, or client facilities as needed.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in safety, engineering, science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, with recognized HSEQ certifications considered an advantage.
