Primary objective

Provide comprehensive support to assist in the administration, maintenance and development of NT Health’s clinical and hospital reporting services and functions.

Context statement The position is required to manage and analyse hospital related datasets to agreed requirements with attention to detail and within timelines.



A key contributor working in a small skilled team, with a customer focused and process improvement mindset.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and update clinical reporting and dashboards in close collaboration with clinical staff, to meet defined

Department of Health requirements.
- Provide high level administrative support and coordination to the Clinical Analytics team, including secretariat support and minute taking for meetings as required.
- Assist in delivering outcomes relating to issues for clinical reporting systems interfacing with Department of Health.
- Manage manual hospital data collections, provide analysis, and automate reporting requirements for Department of Health stakeholders.

1. Undertake periodic reviews of work practices, improving efficiencies through task automation to achieve quality outcomes.
2. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being

undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Proven experience in attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to liaise with stakeholders to meet reporting requirements.
2.



Demonstrated experience in the use of business intelligence reporting software, including SAP Business Intelligence, PowerBI,

Tableau or the equivalent and have the ability to adapt to the various software and adopt emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in extracting, distributing reports, and developing processes to monitor data integrity.
- Demonstrated sound organisational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritise competing requirements, work under pressure, and meet critical deadlines while maintaining quality control and integrity of information.
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting data discrepancies and anomalies.
- High level communication skills, both written and verbal, across a broad and varied stakeholder group, including an ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.

Desirable

1. Broad understanding of analytic functions and business intelligence systems.
2. Experience working in the Health Sector or an understanding of clinical information systems utilised by Department of Health.
