Impressions Horticulture – part of the award-winning team at Impressions Landscape – Design is seeking motivated, reliable, hands-on Horticulturists and Horticulture Apprentices to join one of our small garden maintenance teams.
We design, build and nurture some of Sydney’s most beautiful residential gardens, and we’re looking for a passionate Horticulturists who shares our love for plants, people, and premium outdoor living.
THE ROLES
These are full-time positions with excellent potential for career advancement. Our roles are supportive, hands-on and focused on developing recent skills while working within a company that genuinely values its gardens, its clients and its people.
IT'S TIME TO GROW YOUR CAREER IN HORTICULTURE…
Horticulturist
Your Role:
- Contribute high-quality garden maintenance services across high-end residential properties
- Help plan, schedule and perform day-to-day tasks as part of a small horticulture team
- Perform hands-on duties: pruning, planting, weeding, pest & disease management
- Liaise with our Horticulture Operations Manager and clients while upholding quality standards on every project
- Work closely with the landscaping team on softscaping elements
What We’re Looking For:
- Cert III or higher in Horticulture (required)
- At least 2 years of garden maintenance or soft landscaping experience
- Strong plant knowledge and confidence in managing garden requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Driver’s licence (required)
- A proactive, “lead-by-example” team-first mindset
- Someone ready to take the next step in their career and grow into greater responsibility
Horticulture Apprentice
Your Role:
- Learn all aspects of horticultural maintenance practices through hands-on experience
- Assist with planting, irrigation, pruning, weeding, mulching, and general garden care
- Support the team in maintaining high standards across every site
- Learn and practise the safe use of industry tools, machinery and equipment
- Work towards completing your Certificate III in Horticulture – earn while you learn!
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong interest in plants, gardening, and outdoor work
- A willingness to learn and be part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to build a rewarding long-term career
- Driver’s licence preferred
- 1st and 2nd year apprentices are encouraged to apply
