Forensicare is Victoria's specialist provider of forensic mental health services, delivering recovery-focused care to people with serious mental illness who are connected to, or at risk of contact with, the justice system. We provide services across secure inpatient, prison and community settings throughout Victoria.

Hospital continues to evolve and grow, we are seeking an experienced Psychologist (Grade 2) to join our expanding psychology workforce. This is an opportunity to contribute to a service at a time of significant development, influence clinical practice, and help shape contemporary models of forensic mental health care. Working within a highly regarded multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for consumers with complex mental health needs, while contributing to service innovation, workforce development and clinical excellence.

About

You

You are an experienced psychologist who is excited by the opportunity to contribute during a period of service growth and development.

You will bring: Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

Area of practice endorsement in Clinical, Forensic or Neuropsychology

Board Approved Supervisor status, or eligibility

Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical or Forensic Psychology





At least five years of post-qualification experience

Strong skills in assessment, formulation, intervention and report writing.
