About Us

Waratah Golf Club, located in Argenton near the stunning Lake Macquarie, is one of the Hunter’s premier golf clubs with over 1,100 members and a welcoming community of guests. Our facilities include a popular bistro, a fully stocked bar, a spacious deck overlooking the 18th hole, a halfway house, and a roaming on-course food and drinks cart — all designed to deliver a great experience on and off the course.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for enthusiastic and versatile Hospitality All-Rounders to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience across the full scope of our hospitality operations — from bar service to on-course food and beverage delivery — while working with a supportive and friendly team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver outstanding service across bar, bistro, and on-course outlets.
- Prepare and serve drinks with professionalism (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
- Operate the food and beverage cart on course, providing a friendly face to golfers.
- Accurately handle cash and EFTPOS transactions, including end-of-shift balancing.
- Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked service areas.
- Support smooth service between the bar, kitchen, and floor teams.




- Uphold RSA, RCG, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Create a welcoming setting for members and guests, offering genuine service and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

- Current RSA, RCG certificates (essential).
- A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive experiences.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to also work independently.
- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage, but a excellent attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
