About the role

As a Rear Lift Truck Driver - Waste & Recycling at Waste Clear, you will play a vital role in the company's day-to-day operations. This position is based in Wetherill Park, NSW and involves the collection and transport of waste and recyclables from various residential and commercial locations and day to day operational support to the business. We have a range of vehicles in our fleet from Light Rigid, Medium Rigid to Heavy Rigid.

Full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

- Safely operating a waste compactor truck or table top truck with tail lifter to pick up and transport general rubbish, recycling streams, bulky items and other materials.
- Providing excellent customer service when undertaking services on client sites.
- Utilizing onboard tablet to complete services and maintain accurate records of number of bins collected.
- Loading and unloading of waste and recycling materials.
- Assisting with new site roll outs, including preparing and building of wheelie bins.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the truck is in safe and roadworthy condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and other operational activities.
- Maintaining your vehicles in a clean and roadworthy manner.
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Providing support to the operations team as required and reporting directly to the Operations Manager.




- Manual handling and physical tasks.

What we're looking for

- A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence or higher
- Preferred 1 year experience in a similar truck driving role, preferably in the waste management or logistics industry. (Not essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A physically fit individual with a can-do attitude.
- Someone comfortable with hands-on tasks.

Prior experience in waste removal, rubbish removals or related fields is a bonus but not essential.
