We are seeking an experienced ICT Product Manager to join a public sector organisation in Melbourne. This role will be responsible for product strategy, technology platform ownership, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality digital services.

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle management of technology and application platforms.
- Lead product strategy and delivery initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
- Promote and embed agile ways of working, fostering an agile culture across teams and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and key internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation in government, industry, and cross-sector forums where required.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define and implement integrated IT design patterns and architecture approaches.
- Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of cloud-based, SaaS, and managed service solutions.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary technical and administrative teams.
- Support technology governance, service performance, and strategic planning activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Australian citizenship (mandatory, due to National Security Vetting requirements).
- Tertiary qualifications in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or equivalent skilled experience.
- Experience managing cloud platforms and/or SaaS or Managed Service environments.




- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of integrated IT design patterns and technology solution design.
- Strong experience driving agile delivery practices and embedding agile culture across organisations.
- Experience owning and managing technology or application product roadmaps.
- Proven experience managing vendors and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience representing organisations in government, industry, or sector-based forums.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical and administrative teams.

Highly Desirable

- Experience within the public sector.
- Experience delivering or managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within complex stakeholder environments.
- Exposure to digital evidence management systems, interview-recording technologies, or similar law enforcement and justice-sector systems.
