About the Position
My client is seeking a Legal Counsel for their in-house legal team in Sydney. In the role, you will work closely with the General Counsel and provide timely and commercial legal advice to the business on the full life cycle of various mixed use development projects.
You will also work with a variety of key stakeholders in the company, including Development, Construction, Bids & Acquisitions, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Asset Management.
About You
You are a lawyer who has 4-6 years of post-admission experience at a boutique or mid-sized law firm. Prior in-house experience is not required. You have knowledge of commercial property law and are keen to learn about construction contracts. Prior construction law experience is not required. You will also be open-minded on the type of work you do.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with:
- 4-6 years of post-admission experience in commercial property law.
- Experience gained at a well-regarded boutique or mid-sized law firm.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
