This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Group Facilitator at our Cranbourne centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV)

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Southern Melbourne, the role is responsible for delivering quality, evidence-based group programs in Cranbourne, Tuning in to Kids and Dads Tuning in to Kids. We are specifically seeking facilitators who are bi-lingual and can speak Dari, Hazaragi and/or Pashto to also facilitate Tuning into Kids for Afghan Mother’s. The role involves facilitating programs, supporting participants to better understand their relationships, challenge unhelpful patterns and make constructive changes, while working collaboratively to meet participant needs and achieve positive outcomes.
This role is located at Cranbourne and is a casual position with $66.69 - $68.57 per hour inclusive of casual loading.
About you
- You have relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or a related allied health discipline, with eligibility for membership of the appropriate professional body.
- You have demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and families, including group work interventions, with sound assessment,
risk management and referral skills.
- You are a confident communicator who can work independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal, writing and computer skills.
- You have a current Australian Driver’s Licence and are committed to working with diverse communities, with experience in mental health, family violence or group program delivery highly regarded.
