TasWater's 13-week Summer Placement Program offers university students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable professional connections, and contribute to projects that help shape Tasmania's future.

This paid program is designed to help you apply your studies in a real-world environment, grow your confidence, and explore potential career pathways while working alongside experienced professionals. From delivering essential water and wastewater services to supporting major infrastructure, sustainability and innovation initiatives, you'll be part of an organisation making a genuine difference to communities across the state.

Placement Opportunities
Starting in mid-November, we have 10 paid placement opportunities available across a range of disciplines, including:

- ICT, Data Science and Analytics
- Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical)
- Law and Governance
- Environmental Science
- Public Relations, Project Management and Communications
