We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy cold-storage environment handling a range of food products, including bread, meat pies, chips, butter and ice cream.
This is a hands-on role suited to reliable operators who are comfortable working across forklift operations, dock work and picking/manual handling.
About the Role
- Operate forklifts approximately 80% of the time, with the remaining 20% focused on dock work and manual handling
- Operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts across freezer, chiller and dock areas
- Complete putaways, picking and general warehouse duties as required
- Be adaptable and willing to assist across different warehouse duties when required
Forklift Operations
- High-reach forklifts primarily operate within the freezer
- Counterbalance forklifts mainly operate around the chiller dock, with movement between the freezer and dock
- Toyota forklifts with cabins
- Both sit-down and stand-up forklifts may be used
- Seat capacity is 120kg
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a smaller forklift cabin

What You Need
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Current forklift licence
- Ability to perform dock and manual-handling duties
- Willingness to assist with picking when required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments
- PPE must be supplied and worn from your first day
