Our client operates an Industrial Tool Store in Lytton and is looking for an experienced casual Storesperson to join their team.

Working within the Tool Store, you will be responsible for the issue, return and control of tools, equipment and consumables used by maintenance and project teams across the site. Accuracy and organisation are key, as your role helps ensure tradespeople have the equipment they need to keep work moving.

Your duties will include:

- Issuing and receiving tools, equipment and consumables
- Locating tooling and equipment against approved requests/requisitions
- Recording all tool and equipment movements accurately within the inventory system
- Checking returned tools and equipment and identifying any missing or damaged items
- Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries
- Unloading trucks and containers using a forklift when required
- Putting stock away and maintaining an organised Tool Store
- Assisting with stocktakes and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- General housekeeping and keeping work areas clean and safe
- Working closely with tradespeople, maintenance personnel and other site staff
- Following all refinery/site safety procedures and requirements

To be considered,



you will need:

- Previous experience in stores, warehousing, tool stores or a Trade Assistant environment
- Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, fittings and general industrial equipment highly regarded
- Current Forklift Licence with practical forklift experience
- Good computer skills and ability to MS Excel and Outlook for Emails
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when issuing and receiving equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with tradespeople and site personnel
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliability and a willingness to work additional hours/overtime when required
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
