Role Description The Investment Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC. This position is responsible for building and maintaining financial models, performing detailed investment analysis, and supporting due diligence processes across potential and existing investments. The role involves preparing investment memos and presentations, assisting with market and industry research, and collaborating with senior team members on transaction evaluation and portfolio monitoring.

The Investment

Associate will also help track portfolio performance, update internal reports, and contribute to investment committee discussions.



Regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners is expected to ensure accurate information flow and timely execution of investment activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Financial Modeling and Finance skills.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills suitable for investment analysis and decision support.
- Candidates should possess Due Diligence and Investments skills relevant to evaluating opportunities and managing portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA) are an advantage.
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; familiarity with data and research platforms is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain qualified integrity.
