About the role

At Chatoyer Diamonds, engagement rings aren't sold off a shelf, they're designed with the client, one on one. We're looking for a consultant to join our studio and own that experience from the first meeting through to the moment a client sees their ring for the first time.

This is a agile role: part sales, part design. You'll spend most of your time meeting with clients, understanding their story, and guiding them through designing a custom engagement ring, talking through stones, settings and styles, and shaping their vision into something they'll wear forever. No two days (or two rings) will look the same.

No jewellery experience? No problem. We'll teach you the design side. What matters most is that you're genuinely good with people and know how to sell: confidently, warmly, and without being pushy.

What you'll be doing

- Meeting face-to-face with clients in our East Victoria Park studio (mostly couples designing engagement rings) to understand what they're after
- Guiding clients through the design process: stones, settings, metals and style, from first consult to final piece
- Owning the sales conversation and closing with confidence




- Building genuine relationships that turn into referrals and repeat business
- Representing the Chatoyer Diamonds studio and brand in every client interaction

What we're looking for

- Strong sales experience - retail, luxury, or high-value sales backgrounds all welcome
- A natural at building rapport and trust with clients quickly
- Comfortable working toward and exceeding sales targets
- Genuine interest in jewellery and design (we'll train you on the technical side)
- Reliable and available for the roster below
- Extremely detail orientated

Hours & roster

- 9:30am – 4:30pm
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week
- Saturday and Sunday alternating weekly with the other consultant (e.g. you work Saturday one week, Sunday the next)
- 4 days per week total, full-time equivalent
