Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Kimpton Margot Sydney in Sydney, NSW.
The Job
Title is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, supporting day-to-day hotel operations, and maintaining the brand’s warm, personalized style of hospitality. Daily tasks may include greeting and assisting guests, responding to inquiries, coordinating with other hotel departments, and ensuring that public areas and guest spaces are welcoming and well-presented. The role involves following established procedures, using hotel systems to manage bookings or requests,
and communicating clearly with colleagues to maintain smooth operations. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive team culture, uphold safety and quality standards, and help create memorable experiences for guests.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related guest-facing role, with a strong focus on service excellence.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing, with diverse guests and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Comfort with basic computer systems and hotel or reservation software, or willingness to learn new digital tools.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in a hotel environment; previous boutique or luxury hotel experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of or interest in the Kimpton brand’s guest-centric culture and a genuine desire to create welcoming, inclusive experiences.
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
