About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant who is keen to learn, develop their skills and contribute to a supportive professional team. This is a great opportunity for someone with public practice experience who wants to build their career while working closely with experienced accountants and advisers.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a range of clients.
- Preparing BAS, payroll tax returns and FBT returns.
- Assisting with client queries and supporting the delivery of timely, practical advice.
- Keeping up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practice.
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional client service.

About you

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in public practice tax.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive client relationships.




- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A strong work ethic and a positive, professional attitude.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero and MYOB.
