About the role

DM Composites is seeking a motivated and organised Junior Project Manager to join our growing Australian team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction or engineering qualified looking to develop their project management career while gaining hands-on experience delivering government, civil and infrastructure projects across Australia. Working closely with our Project Director and Project Management team, you will assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from tender handover through construction and completion.

The role combines office-based project coordination with site visits, subcontractor coordination and project administration.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with the planning and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects
- Coordinate project schedules, procurement, subcontractors and material deliveries
- Monitor project progress against programme and budget
- Assist with project costs, variations and forecasting
- Prepare project reports, meeting minutes and client updates
- Follow up project actions and assist the Project Manager in maintaining project programmes
- Attend project sites across Australia as required and assist with coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Monitor quality, safety and project compliance
- Assist with the preparation and management of project documentation, including RFIs, Variations, Site Instructions, Progress Claims, Procurement Registers, QA Documentation,



Project programmes and schedules, and Handover documentation
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

About you

- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or full Australian working rights
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years' experience in construction, civil engineering, project coordination, site supervision or a similar role
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and understand technical construction drawings
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Willingness to travel interstate and attend project sites when required
