Salary for Rostered Supervisor: $180,000 above + super

The Opportunity:· Position: Conveyor Belt Maintenance Supervisor (Rostered)
· Location: Karara Mine Site (FIFO)
· Roster: 8/6 Days & 7/7 Nights
· Salary: From $180,000 + Super

Essential Requirements for role:
· Minimum 3 years' experience in fixed plant/conveyor maintenance, or 5 years' experience in a similar mining or construction role.
· Trade qualification as a Belt Splicer (Cert III Polymer Processing) or Mechanical Fitter (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical).
· Proven leadership, communication, organisational, and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Current Schedule 26, White Card, Working at Heights, and Confined Space certifications.
· Full Australian work rights.
· Able to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check and pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS).
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise conveyor belt maintenance, repairs, and replacements, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
· Monitor the overall conveyor belt system, coordinating breakdown and shutdown maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
· Promote a strong safety culture by identifying hazards, reviewing SWMS/JHAs, and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
· Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team, managing performance, training, and workplace behaviours.
· Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring adequate resources and workforce readiness.
· Conduct pre-start meetings and communicate work plans, safety requirements, and operational updates.
· Inspect tools, plant, and equipment to ensure they are secure and fit for use, and maintain accurate maintenance records, incident reports, and shift handover documentation.
· Support the Maintenance Engineer in developing and improving safe work procedures and maintenance practices.
