Lead Frontend Engineer | $190k – $210k + Super + Bonus | Sydney – Hybrid | Angular, TypeScript, AI

We're partnering with a leading Australian financial services organisation on the hire of a Lead Frontend Engineer to help build a completely current B2B platform from the ground up.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll own the frontend architecture and technical direction, making decisions across SPA vs micro-frontends, state management, performance, browser architecture, security and engineering standards.

What they're looking for:

Deep frontend engineering experience across Angular and TypeScript, with the ability to make and defend architectural decisions across large, complex applications.

AI is a major part of how the team builds.



You'll help guide how AI is used across the engineering lifecycle, defining specifications, architectural principles and guardrails, then directing and validating AI-generated development. They're looking for someone who can guide AI rather than be guided by it.
