We are seeking a hands-on, technically proficient Lead Structural Engineer to join our Design & Project Engineering team working across a diverse range of minerals processing projects.

This is an opportunity to take on a key role in the delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes while contributing to both greenfield developments and sustaining capital projects.

Reporting to our Principal Structural Engineer your key responsibilities will cover (but not limited to):

- Performing structural design calculations for steel structures, support frames, equipment foundations, structural systems for heavy industrial environments.
- Delivering structural engineering packages, including design reports, calculation sheets, general arrangement drawings, fabrication details, and specification documents.
- Demonstrating knowledge of structural systems for heavy industrial environments, including dynamic loads from rotating equipment, bulk material handling systems, and conveyors.
- Managing and delivering multiple structural design packages across concurrent projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with steel and concrete design
- Managing and delivering multiple small projects concurrently.




- Supporting construction and commissioning activities on-site as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Proven experience in a Lead role within the mining and minerals processing industry.
- This is hands on Lead role, and you will be need to have a strong technical background - capable of reviewing and guiding design outputs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with an ability to juggle priorities across several smaller-scale projects.
- Commitment to safety in design and design for constructability principles.
- Exposure to greenfield and brownfield project environments.
- Familiarity with Australian and international engineering codes and standards.
