Voracon is a well established residential construction company specialising in quality renovations, major alterations, additions, knock-down rebuilds and luxury new homes, with projects ranging from $300K to $2.5M+.

Due to consistent and steady growth we are now looking for an experienced and qualified Leading Hand Carpenter / All-Rounder to join our team and work closely with our Site Manager across a range of high-end residential projects throughout Sydney’s Inner West and Lower North Shore areas.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong carpentry background who takes pride in their workmanship, understands quality construction and can confidently work across both structural and finishing stages of a project.

Working closely with the Site Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

- Structural, framing, fitout and finishing carpentry
- General building and site duties including set out, measurements and preparation for trades
- Reading and working from plans
- Assisting with project preparation and sequencing
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Working alongside other trades and subcontractors
- Identifying and resolving issues on site
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and quality
- Assisting the Site Manager with day-to-day site requirements

We are looking for someone who;

- 5+ years' experience in residential construction




- Is a fully qualified carpenter with a strong practical background with experience in renovations and new builds
- Is confident working independently while also taking direction from the Site Manager
- Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Can communicate well with trades, supervisors and the broader team
- Understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and organised site
- Is proactive and able to identify what needs to be done without always being asked
- Has a genuine interest in high-quality residential construction

To be considered for the position you must have;

- Certificate III in Carpentry or similar
- White Card & First Aid Cert
- Current Australian Driver Licence and own tools
- Minimum 5 years' residential construction experience
- Additional tickets, licences or relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
