The Opportunity

We are seeking a Legal Counsel (2–4 PAE) to join Melbourne Park and provide practical,

commercial legal advice across the organisation.

Working as part of a close-knit legal team, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad and varied range of commercial matters, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business and advising on matters including:

- Commercial contracts and agreements
- Compliance and regulatory matters
- Construction and major projects
- Intellectual property
- Leasing and property matters
- Privacy
- Procurement

This is a genuinely broad in-house opportunity, providing exposure to the diverse legal and commercial considerations that arise within a major sporting and entertainment precinct.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice and helping the business navigate matters effectively. Your ability to build strong relationships, understand the needs of the business and communicate clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders will be highly valued.

The role would suit a lawyer with approximately 2-4 years’ PAE who is looking to build their in-

house experience or continue developing their commercial legal career within a dynamic and highly engaging organisation.





What You’ll Bring To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- 2-4 years’ PAE with relevant experience gained in-house and/or within a reputable commercial law practice.
- Experience across commercial legal matters, with exposure to contracts and/or other areas relevant to the role.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, solutions focused legal advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability and confidence working across a broad and varied range of legal matters.
- A valid, unrestricted Victorian practising certificate.
