Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum 18 months recent midwifery experience
- Recent experience in Birth Suite, Antenatal and/or Postnatal care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centred care approach
- Current National Police Check




- Full Australian working rights

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, high-quality maternity care to women and families
- Support women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period
- Conduct maternal and fetal assessments and monitoring
- Provide education and support around newborn care and breastfeeding
- Respond effectively to maternity emergencies when required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
