The Role
We're looking for an experienced Logistics Technician to join a shipbuilding support team based in Osborne. This is a great opportunity for a logistics professional to play a hands-on role in equipment compliance assurance, working across engineering registers, audits and combat system data.
You'll work closely with the wider logistics and engineering teams, providing technical assessments and supporting the continuous delivery of a major shipbuilding program.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify alternate parts and confirm form-fit-function equivalence
- Conduct onboard audits of certified items, engineering register data and associated evidence
- Assess combat system evidence and audit registerable plant, including pressure systems
- Assist with collection of pre-acceptance maintenance triggers and associated evidence
- Condition-assess removed or returned equipment for refurbishment, retesting or remaining life
Required
- Current NV1 security clearance
- Experience in logistics,
compliance assurance or technical inventory/asset management
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic or other pressure systems and associated safety considerations
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and quality/audit frameworks (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Salary $115,000 pro rata for the duration of the engagement
