Lubrication Trades Assistant

Statewide Bearings, Malaga WA

Full time | Entry – Level Role

We are currently seeking a motivated Lubrication Trades Assistant to join our Lubrication Team in Malaga!

This is a hands-on role, entry level role and an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking to start a career in a mechanical or trade – based environment.

In this role, you will work alongside an experienced team, learning how to install, service, and maintain lubrication systems on a range of fixed and mobile equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and working as part of a team.

This is a full time position offering excellent career prospects, ongoing training, and support. You will report directly to the Lubrication Manager and play an important role within the Lubrication Team.

This position offers an attractive salary and bonus package.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with installing, serving and replacing single point lubricators.
- Learn how to repair and maintain lubrication systems.
- Attend customer site visits.
- Assist in building and installing centralised lubrication systems.
- Complete basic reports and paperwork.
- Driving to and from customer sites, including supplier pickups and drop offs.

You will often be working at heights and in confined spaces, requiring you to be physically fit. A manual driver’s licence is required.

To be successful in the role the applicant will need

- Manual Drivers Licence (Essential).
- White Card (Desirable but not essential).
- Mechanical aptitude or mechanically minded.
- Year 10,



intermediate pass for core subjects.
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and medical.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work as a part of a team.
- A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated attitude.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to engage with people and build rapport.
- Strong customer service focus.
