Machine Operator – Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Machine Operator with a robust manufacturing background and a good understanding of mechanical equipment?

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an ongoing Monday to Friday opportunity offering stable work and the chance to build a long-term career, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery and presses, ensuring equipment is set up correctly and production runs smoothly.

Your duties will include

- Operating manufacturing machinery and presses

- Setting up and adjusting machinery for production

- Monitoring machine performance and product quality

- Working with mechanical components, including bearings

- Performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments

- Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance





- Following safety and production procedures

- Maintaining a clean and organised work area

- Working as part of a supportive production team

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment

- Experience operating, setting and adjusting machinery or presses

- Basic mechanical aptitude

- Experience working with mechanical components such as bearings

- Good attention to detail

- Ability to identify and resolve basic machine issues

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- Reliable and punctual work ethic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
