Proquip is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Detailer / Wash Bay Assistant to join our Yard Team in Ravenhall.
In this hands-on role, you will prepare machinery and attachments for hire, maintain a safe and organised yard, and support our customers and internal teams. This position suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in presentation and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Wash and detail machinery, attachments and cabins to company standards
- Prepare equipment so it is clean and ready for hire
- Safely operate and move machinery around the yard
- Assist with loading and unloading customer and transport vehicles
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard
- Store tools and equipment safely and remove rubbish as required
- Follow all quality, health, safety and environmental procedures
- Support the Hire and Sales teams when required
- Participate in workplace training

Desirable but not essential
- A current forklift licence with at least 12 months’ experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge of earthmoving equipment
- Familiarity with access equipment or the transport industry
