We’re looking for Maintenance Electricians to join our Timber operations in Mount Gambier, with multiple opportunities currently available across our local sites.
Whether you’re an experienced industrial electrician, looking for your next challenge, or a commercial electrician interested in making the move into industrial maintenance, we’d like to hear from you.
You’ll join a hands-on maintenance environment supporting safe, reliable and efficient production across our timber operations. Day to day, you’ll work across breakdowns, preventative and planned maintenance, fault finding, controls, equipment upgrades and project work.
For experienced electricians with broader technical capability, there is also scope to contribute to maintenance planning, reliability improvements, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your experience and the requirements of the site, your responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out hands-on electrical maintenance,
repairs and controls work across plant and equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults and responding to breakdowns
- Completing preventative, planned, scheduled and unplanned maintenance
- Supporting electrical installation, equipment upgrades and project work
- Inspecting plant and equipment, identifying issues and recommending improvements
- Ensuring electrical safety and compliance across plant and equipment
- Completing maintenance work orders and records using our CMMS
- Contributing to equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
- Assisting with the scoping and planning of electrical maintenance activities
- Contributing technical knowledge to site projects, SOPs and other maintenance documentation where appropriate
About You
You’ll hold an electrical trade qualification and unrestricted electrical licence, along with a practical, safety-focused approach to your work. We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with:
- Industrial, manufacturing or maintenance electrical experience – preferred, but not essential
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving capability
- PLC, automation and/or control circuit knowledge or experience
- Experience with CMMS systems, ideally MEX
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a maintenance team
- A current Driver’s Licence
Additional post-trade or advanced electrical qualifications, including automation, instrumentation, PLC, controls or related disciplines, will be highly regarded. Unrestricted working rights in Australia are required for these positions.
Roster Options
Depending on the position and operational requirements, opportunities may include:
Day Shift
Monday to Friday.
Rotating Day/Afternoon Shift A rotating roster involving day and afternoon shifts, with no night shifts.
