Maintenance Electrician – Food Manufacturing

Permanent Full-Time Position | Afternoon Shift | Excellent Work-Life Balance RRC Australia is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturing business seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team.

This is a fantastic prospect for a trade-qualified electrician who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and has strong mechanical aptitude. While the role is primarily electrical, you'll also be involved in mechanical maintenance and equipment change-outs as required, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working across multiple disciplines.

- Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday 06:00am - 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electrical preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently to minimise production downtime
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections, and maintenance in accordance with site standards and regulations




- Assist with mechanical maintenance, component replacements, and equipment change-outs as required
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability and performance
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to maximise plant uptime and operational efficiency

About You

- Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence
- Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to undertake mechanical maintenance tasks
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
