About the role The SlingShot Ride in Surfers Paradise is looking for an all-round handyperson to join our maintenance team. This is a physically active role covering general maintenance duties and shift work — day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays — so reliability and a get-it-done attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities

- Carrying out general maintenance duties across the ride and surrounds

- Keeping the SlingShot running smoothly, working closely with our experienced maintenance team

- Operating the ride during busy times when required

- Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks — full on-the-job training provided

- Handling physical tasks, including heavy lifting

About you

- A confident all-round handyperson who's good with tools and fixing things




- A natural problem solver who can think outside the box

- Physically fit and healthy — the role involves some heavy lifting

- Available for night and day shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- Someone who works safely and follows procedures

- Electrical knowledge (nice to have)

- Working at Heights ticket (nice to have)
