Management Accountant – Food & Beverage Manufacturing

With a strong international presence and established manufacturing operations, the business is known for innovation, quality and excellent working culture The Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Management Accountant to join the Melbourne finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a hands-on and commercially focused role supporting the financial performance of a dynamic manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, R&D; and Commercial teams, providing meaningful financial insights to improve profitability, productivity and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage product costing, standard costs and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Analyse manufacturing variances and product profitability
- Prepare monthly management reports, KPI analysis and performance commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
- Partner with operational teams to improve productivity and profitability
- Assist with capital investment evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain inventory controls and support audit and compliance requirements
- Oversee Accounts Payable, including supplier payments,



reconciliations and procure-to-pay controls

About You

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- CPA or CA qualified, or currently working towards qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance
- Experience within FMCG, food, beverage or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting
- Strong analytical and business partnering capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or MYOB Acumatica will be highly regarded
- Comfortable working closely with manufacturing and operational stakeholders
