About the role In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of business and high net wealth clients, providing a mix of compliance, taxation and business advisory services. You'll work closely with the Partners and Directors and become a trusted adviser to your clients, while also playing an key role in reviewing work, managing workflow and developing more junior members of the team. This is not a purely review-focused Manager role.

The firm is looking for someone who enjoys getting involved in the detail and providing hands-on technical support across more complex client matters.

Key responsibilities

- Manage a diverse portfolio of business and high net wealth clients
- Review financial statements, tax returns, BAS and other compliance work across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Remain hands-on with complex accounting and taxation matters where required
- Provide technical advice across corporate tax, CGT, Division 7A, trust taxation and business structuring
- Assist with strategic tax planning and broader business advisory matters
- Manage workflow, budgets and deadlines across your portfolio
- Mentor and develop junior team members, helping them grow technically and professionally
- Identify opportunities to proactively add value to clients through advisory and consulting services

About you

- CA qualification




- 5+ years' experience within an Australian Chartered Accounting or public practice environment
- Strong Business Services and Tax experience
- Experience managing and reviewing work across a range of entity structures
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax, CGT, Division 7A, trusts and business structuring
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Previous experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
