Right Connect is currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators to join a busy extrusion facility operating across rotating shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to safety and quality.
About the Position
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. You will contribute to productive manufacturing processes and work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
Your Key Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensure finished products meet quality specifications and packaging requirements
- Meet daily production targets and delivery deadlines
- Undertake training to develop multi-skilled capabilities across the site
- Actively support and promote workplace health and safety initiatives
- Take responsibility for personal safety and contribute to maintaining high Safety, Health & Environmental standards
Essential Skills & Experience
- Sound understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to work independently across rotating shifts
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Exposure to automated or process-driven machinery
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Current forklift licence
- Experience in material handling
- Basic computer skills
