- Salary range ($102,936 to $113,579) based on FT hours
Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people.
The Art Gallery attracts around 2.6 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.
With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has a current state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Art Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

About the Role To develop, manage and execute strategic, creative, effective, and integrated marketing campaigns for key projects to promote and engage broad audiences and stakeholders with the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

What Technical/Soft Skills you require
1. Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or experience working in arts, marketing or media environments.
2. Demonstrated attention to detail.
3.
Demonstrated high level of stakeholder management skills.
4. Proven understanding of audience-first way of thinking.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous projects under pressure.
6. Well-developed oral and verbal communication skills.
7. An understanding of project management fundamentals.
Targeted Questions
1. Please provide an overview of an integrated marketing campaign that you developed and led to achieve specific audience outcomes. Please outline the objectives, the channels used, the results achieved, and how you measured success.
2. This role requires delivering effective marketing outcomes while balancing competing priorities and limited resources. Please provide an example of a project where you had to balance multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and budget constraints. What decisions did you make, and what was the outcome.
