About the Role

Varied role in a modern manufacturing facility for a licenced Electrician. Featuring next generation automated manufacturing, this facility offers so much more than routine maintenance for the right person - the opportunity to work with advanced machinery, not often seen in regional areas. This is a maintenance team in a modern, fast-paced production environment where you will get the opportunity to work with electrial, control and communication systems across the site.

This is a hands-on role working closely with production teams, requiring strong fault-finding capability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Includes troubleshooting and repairs, minimising downtime, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Based in the booming regional town of Parkes NSW - lifestyle, convenience and the commute is a breeze !!

Full relocation assistance available if you are not already a local to the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair electrical, control, and communication faults
- Perform installation and wiring in line with AS/NZS3000 standards
- Provide breakdown and emergency maintenance support
- Complete preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
- Interpret schematics, PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance
- Supervise contractors and ensure protected work practices on-site

About You





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- NSW Electrical Licence (essential)
- Certificate III in Electrical / Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Experience with industrial automation systems such as PLCs, VSDs, conveyors, or robotics
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with systems such as Rockwell, Siemens, or Allen Bradley (highly regarded)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety
