Role Description The Marketplace Specialist / E-commerce Manager will manage SESI’s online marketplace presence, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for buyers, sellers, and partners. This part-time remote role involves overseeing product listings, optimizing content, monitoring inventory status, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep marketplace information accurate and current. The role includes managing pricing updates, promotions, and basic sales operations, as well as tracking performance metrics to improve visibility and conversion.

The specialist will respond to marketplace inquiries, support customer service processes, and collaborate on digital initiatives that enhance SESI’s outreach and impact in the solar sector.

Qualifications

- Solid Business Negotiation and Sales skills to manage marketplace agreements and drive revenue.




- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret marketplace data, track performance, and support decision-making.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage stakeholders and ensure a positive user experience.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, or digital product management.
- Understanding of or interest in the solar energy sector and sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (spreadsheets, online dashboards, collaboration platforms).
