Medical Receptionist – Join Our Expanding Team!

We’re growing! As our practice continues to expand, we’re looking for two friendly, organised and enthusiastic Medical Receptionists to join our team at our busy family medical practice in Blackwood. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and love being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!

About Us

Russell Clinic is a well-established and busy family medical practice located in the heart of Blackwood. Our growing team includes 13 General Practitioners, 8 Nurses, 13 visiting specialists and allied health professionals, supported by a large and friendly administration team.

It’s an exciting time to join us as our practice continues to grow, and we’re looking for two new team members to become part of our reception team.

About the Role

We have two positions available, with both full-time and part-time applicants encouraged to apply. We’re happy to consider different arrangements for the right people.

We’re looking for people who are warm, professional and approachable, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for providing great service to our patients.

No two days in medical reception are quite the same! We’re looking for someone who enjoys a busy and varied environment,



can think on their feet and loves being part of a friendly, supportive team.

What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Strong computer skills – essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, friendly and qualified manner
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- A proactive attitude and good problem-solving skills
- A genuine commitment to providing excellent patient service
- The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team setting
- Experience with Best Practice software is desirable, but not essential
- And, importantly, a great sense of humour and a positive attitude!
