Make Your Mark on a Major WA Mining Operation

Following NRW Civil & Mining's recent $960 million contract extension through to February 2032, we are seeking a Mining Engineer to join our established team at the Karara Iron Ore Mine.

Karara is a major open-pit magnetite operation in Western Australia's Mid West.

With an approximately 45-minute flight from Perth, a family-friendly 8/6 roster and an established NRW project workforce of approximately 250 people, Karara offers the scale, stability and prospect to take your career further.

Where You'll Make an Impact

- Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules

- Partner with operational teams to achieve production targets

- Support drill and blast and load and haul activities

- Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities

- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and cost control

- Provide practical technical support across the operation

What You'll Bring

• We are looking for a practical, production -focused Mining Engineer who enjoys working closely with operational teams

- A Bachelor of Engineering in Mining, or an equivalent qualification recognised in Australia

- At least two years' operational mining experience

- Experience in mine planning, scheduling and production support





- Exposure to drill and blast and load and haul operations

- Experience across hard-rock, coal or underground operations

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- A current Australian Driver's Licence

- Full Australian working rights

• Experience with Surpac or Deswik will be highly regarded.

This position is FIFO from Perth. Applicants must currently reside in Perth or be prepared to relocate to Perth independently before commencing.
