Role Description The New Home Advisor is a full-time, in office role based in Melbourne, VIC. In this position, the New Home Advisor guides customers through the journey of selecting, customising, and purchasing a new home, providing clear information on designs, inclusions, pricing, and build processes. The role involves meeting with prospective customers in display homes and offices, qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and following up to support informed decisions.

Advisor collaborates with internal design, estimating,



and construction teams to ensure accurate documentation and a smooth handover from sales to build. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date product and market knowledge, ensuring all interactions align with Metricon’s customer-first standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Experience in residential property sales, new home advising, or a related customer-facing role within the building or real estate industry.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and manage expectations throughout the sales process.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities, including clear presentation of complex information such as contract terms, options, and pricing.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, appointments, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of home design, construction processes, or building regulations; ability to learn Metricon’s product range and systems quickly.
- Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems for lead management, documentation, and reporting.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as required in a display home environment.
- Secondary education completion required; qualifications in sales, real estate, property, or a related field are an advantage.
