Your Opportunity:

As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be joining a large and cooperative multidisciplinary team, providing personalised care and support to elderly residents.

In this role, you will utilise your Occupational Therapy skills to provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health, wellbeing, independence and quality-of-life outcomes for residents. You will be supported by clinical treatment pathways designed to promote optimal rehabilitation, functional outcomes and goal achievement for our residents.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

- The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through the following government funded models, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and community-based providers to work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.
