We're looking for a solid operational leader to join M&B; at Bayswater.

We're recruiting an Operations 2IC to work alongside our Operations Manager and help lead the day-to-day performance of our Bayswater operation.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading people, solving problems and taking ownership.

You'll have broad exposure across warehouse, yard, despatch, transport, safety, inventory, people leadership, DIFOT, productivity and continuous improvement.

We're particularly interested in someone who:

- Leads from the floor
- Takes ownership and follows things through
- Is comfortable holding people accountable
- Understands that safety and operational performance go hand in hand
- Thinks commercially about labour, transport, waste and productivity




- Looks for root causes rather than accepting repeat problems
- Wants to challenge and improve the way things are done
- Has a genuine growth mindset

You don't necessarily need to come from timber or hardware.

You might currently be a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, Despatch Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Warehouse Manager or Operations Team Leader looking for greater scope and responsibility.
