Role Overview A leading renewable energy platform is seeking a senior energy markets skilled to lead offtake, origination and revenue strategy across its renewable energy and storage portfolio.

The role will own the commercial lifecycle from market strategy and counterparty origination through tender participation, PPA negotiation and execution , working closely with development, finance and M&A; teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead portfolio offtake and revenue strategy across PPAs, government schemes, merchant exposure and storage revenue structures.
- Build and manage relationships with retailers, gentailers, utilities, traders and large corporate energy buyers , including data centres and industrials.
- Maintain a strong commercial view of the NEM and WEM , including pricing, capture rates, cannibalisation, curtailment and BESS economics.
- Lead CIS, LTESA and other government tender strategies, including pricing and bid execution.




- Own PPA negotiations from origination through execution , ensuring commercial terms are bankable and value-accretive.
- Support project financing, M&A; and farm-downs through revenue strategy and contract diligence.

Ideal Candidate

- 7 to 18 years in Australian energy/solar/BESS markets , with significant PPA origination, structuring, trading or offtake experience.
- Proven track record of executed Australian PPAs and hands-on tender experience.
- Deep NEM expertise and working knowledge of the WEM.
- Strong, active offtaker / buy-side network .
- Commercial fluency across PPAs and structured revenue contracts, with a strong understanding of bankability.
- Relationships with senior energy buyers, data centres and hyperscalers.
- BESS tolling, virtual tolling or cap contract experience.
- Project M&A; / farm-down experience.
