An exciting prospect for an experienced Workday Payroll Manager to join a leading organisation in Sydney on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Following a major Workday implementation, the organisation is now focused on embedding best-practice payroll processes, strengthening internal capability and getting the most from its Workday investment.
About the role:
- Build capability across the payroll team through coaching, training and hands-on support
- Optimise payroll processes, systems and ways of working
- Troubleshoot complex payroll and Workday issues and drive resolutions
- Develop payroll reporting, dashboards and data insights
- Create process documentation, training materials and knowledge resources
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver payroll improvements
- Support the ongoing optimisation and scalability of the payroll function
About you:
- Strong Australian Workday Payroll experience is essential
- Comprehensive end-to-end Australian payroll knowledge
- Experience supporting a Workday implementation, optimisation or payroll transformation
- Strong coaching and capability-building skills
- Excellent reporting, data analysis and problem-solving abilities
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to translate technical system concepts into practical, user-friendly solutions
