Role Description The Payroll Officer / Auditor is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing accurate and compliant payroll processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing payroll calculations, verifying employee compensation, and ensuring proper handling of payroll taxes and deductions. The role involves auditing payroll records for accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions in coordination with finance and HR stakeholders.

Officer / Auditor will also maintain up-to-date documentation, respond to payroll-related inquiries, and support continuous improvement of payroll procedures and controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services.




- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills relevant to payroll auditing and reporting.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and employees.
- Attention to detail, analytical abilities, and a high level of integrity in handling confidential information.
- Experience with payroll software and spreadsheets; familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
- Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or auditing roles is preferred.
- Relevant certification or coursework in accounting, finance, or payroll is an advantage.
