– Pega Data Migration Test Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking an onshore Pega Data Migration Test Analyst to support the testing and validation of a data migration from databases to Pega. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migration testing activities to ensure data integrity, completeness, accuracy, and performance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive data migration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of the data reconciliation framework, including defining reconciliation rules, validation logic, automated comparison processes, and reporting to support migration testing.
- Validate data migrated from databases to Pega
- Execute functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing related to the migration.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, database administrators, business analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues.
- Create and execute SQL queries against SQL Server and PostgreSQL to validate migration results.
- Produce reconciliation reports and testing evidence to support project governance and audit requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing data validation and defect analysis.
- Participate in migration rehearsals, cutover activities,



and post-migration verification.
- Ensure testing activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and governance requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience testing data migration or ETL projects and Pega.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and validating data in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) or other ETL/data integration tools.
- Experience designing or contributing to automated data reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Robust understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality principles.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience using defect and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms.
- Knowledge of database migration methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with performance testing of data migration processes.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Familiarity with data profiling and automated data comparison tools.
